Sovereignty
Sovereignty is control of your own origin.
If your identity lives on someone else's platform, they own the terms. They own the reach, the rules and the exit, and they can change any of them without asking. An origin you control cannot be deplatformed out of existence, because the canonical version of who you are is yours.
This is why the canonical address matters. One address, owned by you, is what lets every projection point home. The site, the docs, the cross-posts and the machine formats all resolve to the same place. Rent that address and you rent the authority. Own it and the authority compounds to you.
Sovereignty is not isolation. You still project everywhere a consumer might look. You publish to the platforms, you meet the agents, you show up in the feeds. You just keep the source and the canonical link. The reach is rented. The origin is owned.
The test is simple. If every platform you use disappeared tomorrow, would you still have your identity, your knowledge and your capabilities, intact and addressable. With an origin, the answer is yes.
